Behind "Fearless"
Worry, doubt, and fear were all things that defined who I was. When Christ became my Lord and Savior all of that changed. I'm defined by Him. Who He says I am. Who I am in Him. "Fearless" says "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength", it says "Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world", it says "whom shall I fear". We truly have the opportunity to live fearless, not because we are strong enough, but because Christ is.
Now, I'm human. I love God. I know His plans for me are perfect. I still have that stomach twist feeling in my stomach when God is pushing farther than I planned on going. But it's also that opportunity that I can use to allow His Word to become life in and through me. To trust that He is sufficient. To trust that He is with me. To know that He will go with me.
Fearless. It opens up the doors to be brave. It opens up the door to unknown adventures, untapped blessings and the ride of your life when you live for Him. Fearless opens up the door to being hurt, yes. To falling. To the unknown. But this is the game changer...
"...“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:1-2
Live fearless!
